This CLE program helps potential pro bono volunteers explore what pro bono is and how it compares to paid legal services. Grounded in the North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct and explored through real-world hypotheticals and examples, presenters Katherine Asaro, and Jared Smith will highlight ethical issues that may arise unique to pro bono legal service. The presentation will also note resources that exist to support attorneys in undertaking pro bono volunteer experiences.
